• I am Bilyana Todorova – a consulting psychologist and a trainee psychotherapist. I offer individual psychological consultations in which I work through the lens of natural psychotherapy and energy psychology techniques. In my work, I combine methods from different psychotherapeutic schools, using an integral and holistic approach to provide individually tailored consultations oriented to each client’s needs.

In my sessions, I apply the principles of energy and quantum psychology, which allows me to view the human being as a complex, multidimensional entity that unites mind, body, and spirit.

I believe that for a person to be truly healthy, they must move from the inner plane of chaos and disharmony to a higher plane of harmony, which requires growth in consciousness. This movement may encounter resistance in the chronic manifestation of symptoms and may appear as frequent recurring crises or episodes. Ultimately, it depends on the individual whether they choose to rise in their consciousness and restore harmony, or prefer to suffer and eventually surrender to illness through powerlessness or withdrawal from life.
My integrative approach includes not only therapeutic sessions but also assessment of the client’s condition, development of a personalized program, and the establishment of a trusting relationship with the client.
I work on self-discovery and building a healthy yet gentle connection with the true longings of the soul, as well as on integrating thoughts, mind, soul, and body, while supporting the development of each person’s individual resources.

In applying energy and transpersonal psychology, I focus on expanding consciousness and transforming perceptions that influence reality. This combines scientific knowledge and spiritual insights, facilitating deep understanding and transformation of internal conflicts and blockages.
My practice covers a wide range of issues, including: trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD, self-esteem and building healthy self-worth, stress and anxiety management, panic attacks, depressive states, interpersonal conflicts, relationships, psychosomatic complaints, eating disorders, burnout, addictions, sexual difficulties, and adaptation to life changes.

I work with adults, couples, and teenagers. I approach each case with empathy, attentive listening, and the necessary support throughout the entire healing process.

What is psychological counseling?

A psychological session is a deep and enriching process that guides a person toward a better understanding of themselves and their emotional experiences. It is a journey toward discovering our inner strength, balance, and personal authenticity.
There is no universal duration or frequency for psychotherapeutic counseling, as each person is unique in their needs and experiences. The interaction between therapist and client takes place in regular sessions scheduled according to the client’s pace. The average session lasts between 50 and 80 minutes. Sessions are often held weekly, but they can occur more or less frequently depending on individual needs and the dynamics of the process.

Contrary to popular belief, a psychotherapeutic session is not a magical moment of insight, but a prolonged and deep process. It is a path of self-discovery and personal growth, in which a person opens their consciousness to their inner experiences. The goal is not to change or become someone else, but to find joy and fulfillment in who we truly are.

Through therapy, a person learns to understand and integrate their emotions, and to find their inner balance and center. This includes embracing vulnerability, recognizing personal needs, and building healthy self-esteem. The process often involves a kind of re-examination of the past to identify and overcome old wounds and behavioral patterns that no longer serve us.
One of the most valuable benefits of psychotherapy is its ability to free us from the burdens we have accumulated over the years. By working through family conflicts, fears, anxiety, depression, phobias, panic attacks, and other psychological challenges, we begin to realize how much these emotional weights affect our lives.

Therapy helps us recognize the negative thoughts and beliefs that often undermine our harmony and replace them with more positive and constructive patterns. Gradually, through the therapeutic process, we learn how to release obsessive thoughts and behaviors that hold us back. The result is a calmer, more confident, and balanced individual, better equipped to face life’s challenges.

Together with the therapist, the client creates a space of trust and understanding, where they can safely express their thoughts, feelings, and fears without judgment. It is a place where inner struggles are acknowledged and honored, rather than dismissed or ignored.

In this way, a psychotherapeutic session is not only a tool for addressing specific psychological difficulties but also a path toward a deeper and more meaningful existence. It is an investment in oneself and in the quality of one’s life.

Personal Experience and Fulfillment

Going through a deep, challenging, and transformative personal journey was one of the most demanding yet rewarding experiences of my life. As someone who has struggled with panic attacks, self-harm, and low self-esteem with serious complexes, the beginning of this path was not easy. I often felt lost, insecure, and inadequate. But with the help of therapy, I gradually began to discover new aspects of myself that I had never realized before.

Over time, I was able to launch several successful businesses, which for me was not only a professional achievement but also a symbol of my personal growth. I believed that if I found my inner strength, I could achieve anything I set my mind to.
Therapy not only helped me overcome panic attacks and low self-esteem, but also provided me with skills and knowledge that I use daily in both my work and personal life. Now, I have the ability to face any challenge with a confident smile and a clear mind.

I discovered that happiness and fulfillment do not come from external achievements, but from the inner peace and balance I found through the therapeutic process. Today, I live the life of my dreams—surrounded by loving people, successful in my profession, and with a deep sense of inner harmony.

Through this journey, I realized that the most important thing is to love and accept ourselves as we are. Psychotherapy helped me learn to listen to my own voice and live my life with wholeness and fulfillment.
